Verbier sits on a shelf above the Val de Bagnes, and the journey divides cleanly in two: a long, fast run down the Rhône valley, and then a climb of switchbacks from Le Châble that takes far longer than its distance.
That final climb is the whole character of the transfer. It is where the winter equipment earns its place, where a driver who does not know the road loses twenty minutes, and where the difference between a chauffeur and a booking app becomes concrete.
