Twenty-two years at one airport

Z-ALS was registered in Kloten in 2004 and has worked the same four service lines out of the same airport district ever since. No franchise, no app layer, no subcontracted city fleet.

The company

Built around arrivals, not a city office

The business started with one car and one problem worth solving: a passenger landing at Zurich Airport should not have to negotiate a fare, queue at a rank, or explain where the terminal exit is. A chauffeur is already there, the fare is already agreed, and the car is minutes away rather than half an hour out in traffic.

That address — Am Balsberg 36, inside the airport business district — is still the operational point of the company. Dispatch sits there, the fleet parks there, and every chauffeur signs on there. When a flight lands early or four hours late, the desk moves a car that is already at the perimeter.

Over time the same operation absorbed more lines of work: limousine hire by the hour, chauffeurs placed into clients' own vehicles, group movements by minibus and coach, and VIP journeys accompanied by a trained bodyguard. Same desk, same standards, same insurance.

How we work

Four commitments, written down

01

The fare is fixed first

Every quote is confirmed in writing before the journey. Waiting time, tolls and night hours are named in it, not added afterwards.

02

Flights are watched, not assumed

Dispatch tracks the inbound and moves the pickup with it. Sixty minutes of waiting is included on arrivals as standard.

03

One chauffeur, named in advance

For multi-day work the same chauffeur stays with the client. You get a name and a number before the first pickup.

04

Discretion is the default

No client names in marketing, no conversation repeated, no vehicle branding. References are given by sector only, on request.

Our chauffeurs

Trained, checked, and kept

Chauffeurs come to us with a professional licence and go through our own training programme before their first shift: defensive driving, airport procedure, luggage and door protocol, and how to say nothing at all for ninety minutes.

Background checks are renewed, medicals are current, and the roster turns over slowly — most of the team has been driving for us for more than five years. That is the whole quality-control story: the same people, on the same routes, for years.
